Cancellations and Refunds
Registration fees are refundable, minus a $100 processing fee, if cancellation is received in writing to info@painmed.org no later than three (3) weeks before the event commencement. Under no circumstances will refunds, transfers, or credits be granted after February 25, 2026. No cancellations will be accepted over the phone or via voicemail.
Who Should Attend?
Clinicians from all specialties and general medical practices treating patients in pain are invited to join leading experts in pain medicine at PainConnect 2027. The program has been designed by a multidisciplinary, multimodal committee of experts at the forefront of pain medicine practice for a primary audience of physicians whose scope of practice is targeted at the multidisciplinary practice of pain medicine and a secondary audience of non-physician healthcare clinicians, including nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physical therapists, psychologists, and pharmacists who are part of the multidisciplinary pain management team.
Objectives and Desired Outcomes
After attending the meeting, participants should be better able to
- Evaluate current evidence, emerging research, and advances in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic pain across diverse patient populations.
- Apply evidence-based multi-modal, and patient-centered approaches to pain management that integrate pharmacologic, interventional, behavioral, rehabilitative, and complementary strategies while promoting patient safety, effective communication, and risk mitigation.
- Examine clinical interdisciplinary, and systems-based strategies that support effective pain care, including care coordination, documentation, practice management, value-based care, and the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies.
PainConnect is presented by the American Academy of Pain Medicine through Joint Accreditation
An application has been submitted for this program to be eligible for CME, ACPE, and APA CEUs. Final CME and CEU credits available will be provided before the event. To help attendees plan, PainConnect 2026 was eligible for 26.75 credits.
You will be provided with a link to evaluate and claim your credits at the email you used to register for the meeting. You will be required to evaluate and claim your credits for this meeting no later than August 31, 2027.
Evaluation Tool & Claiming CME Credit
Meeting registrants will be provided a link to access the Online Evaluations & CME/CE Certificates. Online evaluations may be completed after the meeting. Attendees cannot receive credit for simultaneous sessions. Participants will receive their CME certificate only after they submit their evaluations online. Certificates may be downloaded upon demand after completing the online evaluation. All attendees are encouraged to complete the meeting evaluation by July 31, 2027, regardless of whether they are seeking continuing education credits. The final evaluation deadline for the PainConnect 2027, the AAPM annual meeting, is August 31, 2027.
Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest

These newly evolved standards, formerly known as Standards for Commercial Support, “serve the needs of healthcare professionals, patients, and the public in changing healthcare environment”.
It is the policy of AAPM to plan and implement educational activities in accordance with ACCME to ensure balance, independence, objectivity, and scientific rigor. As an ACCME joint-accredited provider, AAPM may receive support from ineligible companies (defined by ACCME as any entity whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling, or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients) but does not receive guidance, either nuanced or direct, on the content of the activity or on who should deliver the content. All program faculty and planners are required to disclose all financial relationships they may have or have had within the past 24 months with ineligible companies. Any real or apparent conflicts of interest must be resolved prior to the presentation.
