PainConnect 2027 Travel Grants

About the Travel Grants

The AAPM Foundation is offering four $800 travel grants for PainConnect 2027, the American Academy of Pain Medicine's annual meeting. Two grants will be awarded to fellows and two to non-physician applicants.

The Foundation works to advance provider education, support research, and improve access to individualized, comprehensive, evidence-based pain care. These grants support participation in the professional education and collaboration available at PainConnect.

Eligibility and Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Hold current AAPM membership and be currently registered for PainConnect 2027.
• Fellow applicants must be attending an ACGME-accredited pain fellowship program.
• Submit a 350–500-word statement explaining why they are applying for a grant to attend PainConnect 2027.
• If selected, write a 750-word blog post with candid photos about their PainConnect 2027 experience for publication on the AAPM Foundation website and social media.
• Fellows accepted into the 2027 AAPM Scholars Program at PainConnect are not eligible for this travel grant.
• Recipients are expected to stay at the official PainConnect hotel, Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando.
