Don’t Miss Article on Neck Pain Guidelines for Cervical Spine Joint Procedures
The past 2 decades have witnessed a surge in the use of cervical spine joint procedures including joint injections, and nerve blocks and radiofrequency ablation to treat chronic neck pain, yet many aspects of the procedures remain controversial.
With controversy still swirling around aspects of common cervical spine joint procedures such as joint injections, and nerve blocks and radiofrequency ablation, we’ve collaborated with the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA) to charge the Cervical Joint Working Group to develop neck pain guidelines.
The results work appear in the newest edition of Pain Medicine, the premier source of peer-reviewed research and commentary on matters relevant to the multidisciplinary clinical practice of pain medicine.
