Position Overview

Marshfield Medical Center – Minocqua is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pain Physician to join our established practice in Minocqua, Wisconsin.

The ideal candidate will be board-certified in interventional pain management, pain management and rehabilitation, or anesthesiology and pain management. This opportunity will be a primarily procedural assignment within the pain medicine clinic.

Candidates must have a desire to be part of a team-based service that includes working with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), nurses, and a pain psychologist. Candidates should be interested in the clinical management of pain patients with complex medical histories through a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach.

Clinical Practice and Opportunities

Candidates must possess the ability to perform a wide range of pain medicine procedures, including a breadth of spinal injections and radiofrequency ablation.

Opportunities to participate in additional advanced modalities will be considered, including:

• Spinal injections and radiofrequency ablation
• Spinal cord stimulation (trial and implant)
• Intrathecal pump placement
• Peripheral nerve stimulation
• Other advanced pain management modalities

No call coverage allows for greater work-life balance.
