Pain Perspectives- Understanding and Managing Pain Across Specialties*
Path LMS Courses
Designed for advanced practice providers (APPs), fellows, residents, and professionals new to pain medicine, including those in primary care, emergency, internal, and family medicine. This course covers practical, evidence-based approaches to managing complex pain syndromes across various clinical settings.
Learners will gain insights into key pain types such as chronic low back pain, neuropathy, cancer-related pain, headaches, pelvic pain, fibromyalgia, and more. The curriculum integrates pharmacological therapies (e.g., buprenorphine, CGRP-targeted agents), non-pharmacological strategies (e.g., behavioral interventions, physical therapy), and interventional approaches, such as peripheral nerve stimulation. The course also addresses pain disparities based on sex, race, and social determinants of health. nteractive comprehension checks are embedded throughout to reinforce learning. The course is eligible for continuing education credits (CE/CME).
